Sri meenakshi sundaraswarar Temple
         It is the famous Twin Temple of Tamilnadu and the best landmark of the Southern India, and also remarkable nominee of the Wolrd’s Wonder Contest. Here, the Temple so serene and spiritual to the people of Madurai who worship Lord Sundareswarar and meenakshi Amman his consort. The Temple has its elite style of tower structure that indicates the four directions North , East , West , South and spacioius interior where lakhs of devotees could move in to worship the Lord. The Scultture, Artistical paintings, Stone carvings are the greatest highlights of the great workers those days. A significant thousand pillar mandapam , and Musical pillar carved out of stones that produces different musical sounds are real sheer wonder in this temple.
Thirumalai Nayak Palace
         During the year 1636, Madurai was ruled by Thirumalai Nayak the king after the Pandiyan Rulers. His palace was built with great challenge of Civil engineering structures, with huge pillars and marvellous arches which are much impressive. The impossing edifice is famous for its “Stuccowork” on its dooms. Behind the palace you have ten strights similar pillars for cuffing elephants those days.
Mariyamman Teppakulam
         This is situated on the East of Madurai. It is one of the beautiful square tank filled with water during festivals and you have a lovely scene of colourful lights float onces a year will be an awesome experience to the touirist. On the North of the temple you have goddess Mariamman, a famous village diety of the Tamilnadu is worshipped here.
Vandiyur Kanmoy Tourist Complex
         This is another ideal lake for picnic spot. You have childrens joy train and boating services for amusement.
Gandhi Museum
         Homed in the old palace of Ranimangammal , the museum speaks the ever living legend Mahatama Gandhi who found inself to be known for simplicity from this Madurai district. The museum exhibits photo gallery, relics, khadi and its importance and also other village based industry products.

         This is one of the place where devotees devote to Lord Subramania (Murugan) as one of the Six Abodes as per the Hindu belief.
Alagar Kovil (21KM)
         It is situated on a hill known as Sollamalai, surrounded by Panoramic natural beauty. Beautiful carvings and sculptures to admire and a nice place to relax, but with precaution over monkeys. They so mischevious but harmless. A spot that will make a visit worth a while and rewarding. Moreover you have palamudhirsollai, one of the six Abodes of Lord Subramania is located atop the hill. Wherein , pulls devotees fromn town to visit and worship.
