Yercaud.
This is a smallest hill resort of hill station. Which is situated center of TamilNadu amidst north arcot and south arcot districts. A lovely landscape that provides awesome scenery view to the tourist, quite inexpensive yet exquisitely picturesque. You have place of visits such as the servarayan temple, the Anna park near the lake, lady’s scat, pagoda point, killiyur falls, Bears cave, the Grange, the ornamental plants at the green house, orchard cum nursery for rose plants, silk farm, Horticulture research station, orchidorium and an eagles view on salem districts while moving up the hills (between 16th and 17th bends of the road) Moreover, the kurunji flowers which blossoms once in twelve years are the major attractions to the tourists from here.

Kailasanathar temple is famous here.
Mettur (60 km)
This is another picnic spot near salem district. It is Industrial town, with a huge dam, power station, a park and a temple of Aiyanar – are the famous locations here.
