Tiruvanamalai
This is also an ancient town in the state of Tamilnadu. This district existed in the 1989 by bifurcating from the north arcot districts. Its area is about 6191 sq.km. Landscape of hills and plains, Tiruvanamalai is the district headquarters, which has a junction of two important arterial roads. This town is famous for its role-play is military operations from at least the 15th century onwards and up to the end of the Mysore wars. The Arunachala Temple
